Candleholder

Here is my latest project. I saw this wooden candleholder at the store and it begged me to take it home.

I had this Shabby Chic thing in mind

First I painted it with flat white paint a couple of times and sanded it down a little bit.

I kind of experimented when doing the third coat and mixed lime green with a little bit of Antique medium. I then sanded again until weathered. 

I let it sit overnight and did 2 coats of flat white this morning and sanded really well

I added a string to it with a little bird charm that I found in my junk drawer and Voila...

Isn't it cuuuute!
