Home Goods. My favorite store of all times. Especially the clearance rack. Period.

I am not sure why this guy was on sale but I grabbed it fast...

I didn't come in to shop...I had a return and happened to take a circle and look around

what a beauty :-)

As soon as I came home I stuck a bunch of moss in there and put the lid on. Next day I noticed all this steam on the glass....Ahhh ofcourse well it's a real MOSS so I guess I need to dry it out before the lid goes on or put something else into it...

I love this rustic finish... but in the meantime...The troll is in charge taking care of things

That's when I usually gather stuff for next year. I was in desperate need of a Christmas Tree Top but didn't manage to find anything I wanted to spend the money on before the Holidays but love and behold I just found one! Half Off....Score...

I got other things too....little knick knacks that I will use for wrapping in 2013

"Clearance Racks"

For me it is a hobby to weed the clearance rack. 

Sometimes there is nothing interesting to find but other times it's like walking into a treasure chest. 

My favorite stores for unique findings are TJ Maxx, Marshall's, Home Goods, Target and Pier One. I am not really the flea market type even though I love the look of old things. I think that stems from  intimidation for when I have to bargain with the owner for the right price.

This is my latest find ( $4.50 each ) I liked it as is but I wanted to brighten things up so I painted it chalky white, sanded it down and roughed it up.  

I think I am happy with this exact display right above with those little moss balls.
